Risk-based review
Content is classified by risk. General record-keeping guidance (risk A) receives editorial checks. Health-adjacent pages (risk B) and higher-risk medical topics (risk C) carry stricter source, scope, change-log and re-check requirements. Publication approval and veterinary review are recorded as separate facts.
What review means here
A veterinary review exists only when an identified, qualified reviewer has checked the fixed wording and rules. Editorial source checks or project-owner approval are never described as medical review. Even reviewed content would remain general information, not advice for an individual animal.
What is shown on each page
A medically reviewed page displays the real reviewer and review date. A page published without that review says “Not medically reviewed” and identifies its editorial author, dates, sources and limits. We never invent reviewer names or imply endorsement from cited organizations.
Hard limits that never change
No page or tool may diagnose, score urgency or severity, calculate or complete medication doses, advise what to do after a missed dose, or claim a cat does not need veterinary care. These limits apply regardless of review status.
Current status
PetsLately's first-release tools and guides are owner-approved for publication but have not been medically reviewed. They are indexed with that limitation shown prominently. We may add independent veterinary review later; until then, the label remains unchanged.
