What is a .catcare file?

How to use this tracker
- Weigh your cat — the same scale at a similar time of day keeps readings comparable.
- Add the weigh-in — date, weight in kg or lb, and an optional method and note. Switching units never clears what you typed.
- Read the change, not a verdict — with two or more entries you get the baseline, latest, absolute and percentage change, ready to print, copy, or download for your vet.
Rules and limits
- Shows mathematical change only (absolute and percentage); it is not a medical judgment.
- No "normal/abnormal" zones, no ideal-weight claim, and no cat BMI.
- At least two valid measurements are required before any change is shown.
- A change in scale or unit can add noise; the tool flags it, it never turns it into a medical alert.
